Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until everything is mixed.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips or dried fruit.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
  2. Let it cool before cutting into squares.

This dessert is best served warm or at room temperature. Pair with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
