Ingredients
  

For the stuffing
  • 1 pound large mushrooms Choose large mushrooms to hold the filling well.
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Can substitute with cheddar or mozzarella.
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs For a crispy topping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms and carefully remove their stems. Set both the caps and stems aside.
  3. Finely chop the mushroom stems and place them in a mixing bowl.
  4. Add the cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, parsley, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika to the bowl. Mix well until everything is combined.
  5. Stuff each mushroom cap with the cream cheese mixture, pressing down gently to fill them well.
  6. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of each stuffed mushroom for a delicious, crispy finish.
  7. Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and heated through.

Notes

These stuffed mushrooms make a fantastic appetizer or snack. Serve warm with a fresh salad or your favorite dipping sauce. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
