Pasta and Sausage
  • 8 oz pasta (your choice)
  • 1 lb sausage (any type, sliced)
Sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Cooking
  1. Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Add honey and soy sauce to the skillet, stirring to combine.
  4. If desired, sprinkle in red pepper flakes for heat.
  5. Toss in the cooked pasta and mix well to coat with the sauce.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until heated through.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes
