  • 1 lb ground beef Use high-quality ground beef for the best flavor.
  • Salt To taste.
  • Pepper To taste.
  • Garlic powder To season.
  • 4 large flour tortillas Corn tortillas can be used as an alternative.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese Feel free to mix cheeses for different flavors.

  • diced onions For serving.
  • burger sauce For dipping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  2. Press a small handful of ground beef directly onto one half of each tortilla. Season well with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Cooking
  1. Cook the beef side down for 2–3 minutes until browned.
  2. Flip the tortillas, sprinkle with cheese, and fold in half.
  3. Grill both sides until crispy and melty.
Serving
  1. Slice and serve with your favorite burger toppings or dipping sauce.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat until warmed through and crispy again. For added crunch, consider adding finely chopped peppers or jalapeños to the beef before cooking.
