Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Rub both sides of the ribeye steaks with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Place the steaks on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
  2. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Ribeye steak is perfect on its own, but it pairs beautifully with sides like roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad. Let the steaks rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking for even cooking. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness: 130°F for medium-rare, 140°F for medium. To store leftovers, cool to room temperature, wrap tightly, and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
