Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 8 pieces Oreo cookies For crushing
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream Can substitute with chocolate or cookies and cream
  • 1 cup whole milk Can use low-fat or plant-based milk if desired
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Optional for extra flavor
Toppings
  • Whipped cream For topping
  • chocolate syrup For topping
  • 1 pieces Extra Oreo cookie Optional for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Place the Oreo cookies into a thick freezer bag. Gently pound with a rolling pin until crushed.
  2. Add the milk to a blender, followed by the ice cream and Oreo crumbs.
  3. Pulse a few times, then blend until smooth. If you're using vanilla extract, add it in now.
  4. Adjust the shake with more milk if needed for your desired consistency.
Serving
  1. Pour the milkshake into two glasses.
  2. Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream and drizzle chocolate syrup over it. If you'd like, add a whole Oreo for garnish.
  3. Serve immediately with a straw and a spoon. Enjoy!

Notes

For a thicker milkshake, use less milk or more ice cream. Keep some Oreo pieces aside to fold into the mixture for added crunch. Experiment with different ice cream flavors for variety. If storing leftovers, keep in an airtight container and stir or blend again before serving.
