Preparation
- In a bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit until foamy, about 5 minutes.
- Mix in the flour, salt, eggs, and butter until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and divide it into rolls.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet, cover, and let them rise again for 30 minutes.
- Bake the rolls in a preheated oven at 375°F for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
Serving
- Serve warm and enjoy! These rolls can be enjoyed plain, with butter, or your favorite jam.
Storage
- To keep the rolls fresh, store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
- For longer storage, wrap them tightly in plastic wrap and store in a freezer-safe bag for up to 2 months.
Notes
For extra fluffy rolls, knead the dough well until it’s nice and elastic. Feel free to experiment by adding herbs or spices to the dough for an interesting twist. You can also add chocolate chips or dried fruits for a sweeter treat.
