  • 3 cups Gluten Free All Purpose Flour Blend
  • 1 cup active Gluten Free Sourdough Starter Ensure your sourdough starter is active.
  • 1.25 cups Warm Water
  • 1.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil Lightly oil the bowl to prevent sticking.
  • 1 tablespoon Honey

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit with a Dutch oven inside.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, warm water, sourdough starter, honey, and olive oil until combined.
  3. Lightly oil a bowl and transfer the dough into it.
  4. Cover and let the dough rest and ferment for 4 hours.
Baking
  1. Shape the dough gently, transfer it onto parchment, and place it in the hot Dutch oven.
  2. Bake covered for 35 minutes, then uncovered for an additional 10 minutes.
  3. Allow it to cool completely before slicing and serving.

Notes

This gluten-free sourdough bread is wonderful on its own but shines even more when paired with your favorite spreads. For storage, keep it in an airtight container at room temperature for a few days or slice and freeze for longer keeping.
