Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) if you plan to bake your crust.
- Crush the gluten-free graham crackers into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a plastic bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crumbs with melted butter or coconut oil and sugar until everything is well mixed.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a pie pan.
- If you’re using it for a baked pie, bake for 10 minutes.
- For no-bake pies, chill it in the refrigerator until you are ready to fill it.
Notes
Store leftover crust in the fridge wrapped tightly in plastic wrap or in an airtight container for about a week. It can be frozen for up to three months; thaw in the refrigerator before using. For variations, mix in spices like cinnamon or nutmeg.
