Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients
  • 2 cups gluten free all-purpose flour Use a certified gluten-free blend.
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1 large egg (or flax egg for vegan) For flax egg, mix 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseed with 2.5 tablespoons of water.
Filling Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
Frosting Ingredients
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for frosting)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the gluten free flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon until well mixed.
  3. In another bowl, mix the milk, melted butter, and egg (or flax egg) until smooth.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients to form a sticky dough.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
  6. Spread the rolled dough with melted butter, then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over the top.
  7. Roll the dough up tightly from one end and cut into even rolls.
  8. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Frosting and Serving
  1. For the frosting, mix the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla together in a bowl until smooth, and drizzle it over the warm cinnamon rolls.
  2. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze individual rolls for up to 2 months. Reheat in the microwave for 15-20 seconds or in a warm oven.
