Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients
  • 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm milk Make sure it's warm, not hot.
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup garlic, minced
Additional Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup butter, for brushing Melted garlic butter.
  • to taste Parsley, for garnish Optional.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk and sugar. Sprinkle the yeast on top and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until bubbly.
  2. Add melted butter, egg, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix well to combine.
  3. Gradually add the flour, stirring until the dough starts to take shape.
  4. Knead on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Rising
  1. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
  2. Once risen, punch down the dough and divide it into small balls.
  3. Arrange the balls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.
Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brush the tops of the rolls with melted garlic butter before baking.
  3. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the rolls are golden brown and fluffy.
  4. After baking, brush with additional garlic butter and garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

These rolls are best enjoyed warm, straight out of the oven. Store them in an airtight container at room temperature for a couple of days or freeze in a resealable bag for longer storage.
