Ingredients
  

Garlic Butter Mixture
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
Sandwich Assembly
  • 4 slices of bread Use your favorite type of bread.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend Feel free to experiment with different cheeses.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with garlic powder and dried parsley until smooth and well combined.
  2. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on one side of each bread slice.
Assembly
  1. Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, on a skillet. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese mixture over each slice.
  2. Top with the remaining two slices of bread, buttered side up.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over low heat and cook the sandwiches for 4 to 5 minutes on one side until golden brown.
  2. Flip the sandwiches and cook the other side for another 4 to 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.
  3. Remove from heat, slice as desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve warm with tomato soup or a fresh salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheat on a skillet.
