Preparation
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Stir in the chopped tomatoes and Italian seasoning. Cook for about 5 minutes, allowing the tomatoes to soften.
- Add the cooked pasta into the skillet and mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serving
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
Notes
Best served warm. You can sprinkle some extra basil or a dash of parmesan cheese on top for added flavor. Pair it with a side salad or some crusty bread to complete the meal! If storing leftovers, use an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stove.
