  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted) Can replace half with applesauce for a healthier option.
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips Use dark or white chocolate chips for variety.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar together until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

You can serve these brownies warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, or dusted with powdered sugar. They are delicious on their own or topped with fresh berries or chocolate syrup for an elegant presentation.
