Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 2 pieces boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Panko breadcrumbs can be used for extra crunch.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Grated.
  • Olive oil as needed for frying
For the Sandwich
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
  • 2 slices crusty bread Toasted.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese until fully coated.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  2. Place the cooked chicken on a baking sheet and finish cooking in the oven for an additional 10 minutes.
  3. While the chicken is finishing, toast the crusty bread until golden.
Assembly
  1. Assemble your sandwich by placing the cooked chicken on the bread, drizzling with Caesar dressing, and topping with the chopped romaine lettuce.
  2. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

This sandwich is best served warm for that crispy texture. Pair it with potato chips or a light salad. For a vegetarian option, consider using breaded eggplant or portobello mushrooms.
