Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, light brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk.
- Fold in the diced apples.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Baking
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Enjoy warm, sliced thick with butter. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
