Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup milk or dairy-free alternative
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or dairy-free alternative
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Coating
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar for coating
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon for coating

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just mixed.
  5. Fill each donut cavity about 3/4 full with the batter.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Let the donuts cool slightly before removing them from the pan.
Coating and Serving
  1. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon for coating.
  2. While the donuts are still warm, dip them in the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat.
  3. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days or freeze for up to a month. Thaw before serving.
