- In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and instant yeast.
- Gradually add warm water and mix until a wet, sticky dough forms.
- Cover with plastic wrap and let rise for 12-18 hours at room temperature.
Baking
- After rising, turn the dough out onto a floured surface and shape it into a rectangle.
- Let it rest for about 30 minutes, then preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Carefully transfer the dough onto a baking sheet and score the top with a sharp knife.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Brush with olive oil before serving.
Notes
To keep your ciabatta fresh, store it in a paper bag at room temperature for up to 2 days. For longer storage, wrap it tightly and freeze.
