Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the flour and sugar together until well combined.
- Add in the milk, melted butter, and eggs to the dry ingredients. Mix until the batter is smooth and creamy.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, spreading it out evenly.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, let the cake cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Dust with powdered sugar, serve with whipped cream or fresh berries. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature, or refrigerate for up to a week. Freeze slices for up to three months.
